Let's all Be a Rae of Sunshine in our Community by fighting youth bullying
MaKenzi Rae was an advocate for anti-bullying and always would take up for her friends. In the last month of her life, she was a target of bullies in her school. She handled it with Grace and turned the other cheek. She did not even tell her closest friends what was going on which involved a physical attack, videos of attack being distributed and countless bullies at the school harrassing her. She was able to talk to us about what was going on and we were able to get her help. Many kids do not have the strength or resources that MaKenzi did and we want to be a resource to fight bullies in our schools and communities and protect the targets of bullying.
Youth Resources
We will be offering videos and testimonials to help our youth not feel alone. We will also be developing a mentoring program for students that are being bullied in our schools.
Resources for Parents
We will be offering information on warning signs to look for, how to make sure your teen is using technology appropriately and how to help you find counseling resources.
